Borehole Drilling in Zimbabwe is the leading Borehole Drilling consultancy in Zimbabwe.
3. Borehole Casing: Once the borehole has been drilled, it must be lined with either steel or UPVC casing. The casing process keeps the Borehole open and protects the earth, similar to the efforts to protect groundwater.
4. Borehole Development: Once the screen, pack, seals and backfill have been installed, the Borehole is developed. This development aims at repairing the damage done to the aquifer during the course of drilling by removing clays and other additives from the borehole. This also alters the physical characteristics of the aquifer around the screen and removes fine particles.

5. Borehole Yield Testing: After development and preliminary tests, a long-duration well test is carried out. Borehole Yield Tests have to be carried out on all newly-completed wells, because not only does this give an indication of the success of the drilling, design and development, but it also yields formation on aquifer parameters which are vital to the hydrogeologist.
A Borehole test consists of pumping a well from a measured static water level (SWL) at a known or measured yield and recording the rate and pattern by which the water level within the Borehole changes. Once a dynamic water level (DWL) is reached, the rate of inflow to the well equals the rate of pumping. Today, it is a common practice to carry out a ‘step drawdown test’, in which the yield is increased stepwise. Each step is continued until hydraulic equilibrium is reached after which the yield is increased by 50 to 100%.
6. Water Quality Test: Borehole Drilling in Zimbabwe has contracted well trained chemists that conduct water quality tests in the quest of knowing the status of total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH levels. Where a client suspects other contaminants, Borehole Drilling in Zimbabwe also tests for such.
7. Borehole Pump Installation: Depending on the well testing report, Borehole Drilling in Zimbabwe installs motorized submersible pumps through its sister company; Borehole Drilling in Zimbabwe irrigation and Energy Services which specializes in pumps.
